Testing 2021

TESTING INFORMATION          April 30, 2021

Next week begins T-Cap TESTING, EOC-(End of Course Testing) and AP testing for students at CCA.

Both in person and at home learners must take all tests in person at school. T-CAP /EOC tests are required for all students in Hamilton County.  The tests are all Paper/Pencil and must be completed at school, in person. This is a district policy. There is no “opt out” for state tests.

The testing window is May 3- May 14.  May 7 and May 14 are reserved for make-up tests only. Any online learner who is absent from a test must attend on May 7 or May 14 or both days for the make-up test/s. Testing times for all state academic tests is 9-11:30 each day.

Lunch and directed studies begins at 11:30-12:30 each day.

AP class assessment time vary, yet are beginning on Tuesday, May 4.  Follow the schedule posted in CANVAS to see the times for each individual AP (Advanced Placement) tests.  Individual students paid for all AP tests earlier this year.

The first day of testing is on Monday, May 3. At home learners may be picked up at 11:30 in the car rider line on the second level.  Any current at home learner is free to ride the bus to and from school for the testing weeks.  Please visit the hcde.org website for information about busses if you are interested.  If a student rides a bus in the afternoon, they will leave school at our 4PM dismissal.

All test dates and the subject tested are posted in CANVAS under announcements for 1A classes. If you are an at home learner and DO NOT have a test on a given day, you may remain at home. All classes will be held in the afternoon during the FIRST WEEK of testing. Any at home learner who leaves at 11:30 is expected to attend their classes in the afternoon. Again, refer to the schedule that is posted in CANVAS.

All in person learners are expected to remain at school as normal from 9AM- 4PM.

PLEASE HAVE STUDENTS AT SCHOOL ON TIME! THIS IS VERY IMPOTANT.  MASKS MUST BE WORN.  LEAVE ALL PERSONAL ELECTRONIC DEVICES AT HOME.

*** Seniors last day for classes is on Friday May 7.  ALL SENIORS, INPERSON AND AT HOME LEARNERS SHOULD PLAN TO ATTEND SCHOOL TO TURN IN ANY BOOKS, LOCKS, LIBRARY BOOKS, PAY FEES, AND TO MAKE SURE THAT ALL THE NECESSARY WORK FOR THEIR CLASSES IS IN ORDER.  A CELEBRATION LUNCHEON WILL BE HELD AT 12 FOR ALL GRADUATES.
