10/27/19 Message from the PrincipalGood Evening CCA Families,
This week we have the following:
Students continue to have homeroom in preparation for Student-Led Conferences on Tuesday, 10/29.
All families should be scheduled and confirmed for your appointments on Tuesday.  Please remain in the commons where your students with your student until your appointment time is called.  Please understand you will not be called back if you arrive early.  Other families will be in their sessions and only the scheduled times will be called.  Thank you for your patience and assisting with allowing every family to have their allotted time with their students.  Appointments begin at 4:30 and end at 7:00.  All conferences will be finished by 7:30. If you are not present for the conference you must call the office at 498-7365 ext 7 to arrange an appointment to make-up a conference. Only emergencies should be the reason a family is not in attendance on Tuesday.

The Dinner and the Arts planning committee will meet on Tuesday, 10/29 at 9:15 in the commons. All are welcome to attend.

PAPA will hand out their fund raising packets at SLC.  You can participate by pledging in the rising star envelope challenge, buying t-shirts and letterman jackets that advertise your student’s art major, and purchasing personalized auditorium seat plaques.   PAPA will be selling donuts in the car line on Thursday, 10/31 for $1 each or $9 for a dozen.

National Junior Honor Society is having their first annual Pumpkin decorating contest. NJHS members will be displaying pumpkin creations in the commons during lunch, and students can bring in their spare change to vote for their favorite pumpkin.  The coin drive will support school and community service projects.  Pumpkins may not be carved, only decorated.  PLEASE, carved may attract unwanted guests such as rodents and bugs.  Bring your pumpkins in beginning tomorrow or no later than Tuesday morning.

I will be meeting with the class presidents on Friday November 1 during Middle School lunch and DS.  All class presidents should get their lunch and bring it into the office conference room at the beginning of MS lunch.

NO costumes will be allowed on Thursday for Halloween.  This includes any head gear or decorative make-up.
Thanks for your support!
Mrs. Smith
