10/20/19 Message from the PrincipalGood Evening CCA Families,
This week we have the following:  This past Friday, 10/18, your students received a copy of their first nine weeks Report Card.  They also received a letter that indicated a time for your required student-led conference or a reminder letter that showed the time you signed up for at Open House.
Keep in mind Student-Led conferences are required in order to keep your seat at CCA for next year. This is the first of two that are held during the school year.

Buds will meet on Tuesday, 10/22 until 5PM.

PAPA continues to collect donations for the Envelope Challenge and memberships to PAPA.  This week they will distribute their fundraiser information envelopes to all students.
Academic Excellence will be celebrated at lunch on Thursday, 10/24.  This is sponsored by PAPA and recognizes all honor and star honor roll students for their outstanding achievement.

The Masquerade Ball is this Friday night from 7-10.  This dance is sponsored by the Acting department.  The event is a dance and a student created haunted house. All costumes worn at the dance must be in dress code. Outside guest forms are due by Thursday at 12. They are available in the office or at lunch.  Tickets are $5 and will be sold at lunch.

Finale will be on Friday and we will have an Intermezzo schedule.

Remember to turn in all coke rewards every Friday.  Scan your grocery receipts once you register with box tops and you will be supporting our school. Type in your phone number every time you shop at Publix to also give us support.  Mrs. Rich is working hard to make this year’s campaign the best.

Student- Led conferences are on Tuesday, 10/29 and are required for all parents and students to attend. Make sure you ask your student for your appointment letter.

On Saturday, 10/26 is a big parent workday from 9-3 and an opportunity to earn your hours and help our school.  Bring plants that can take the winter temperatures, garden tools, weed eaters and shrub trimmers for our courtyards.  Paint brushes, drop cloths, and step ladders to assist with our painting needs. Any cleaning supplies and good cleaning rags are always welcomed.

Thanks for your support!
Mrs. Smith
