PAPA: Performers, Artists, Parents, and Advocates

Welcome to CCA! We know that you are excited about the opportunities CCA offers your family.  One of the great things about CCA is that there are MANY ways to get involved! The best place to start is by joining PAPA, which stands for Performers, Artists, Parents and Advocates. This is an organization where parents, students, and faculty work together for the good of the student and the school. The fee is only $5, and every penny raised goes to help the students right here at CCA! When you volunteer to help with PAPA events, you earn service hours.

Be sure to LIKE us on Facebook and receive up-to-date info on the many ways you can help support our school!

Check out the Volunteer Information page for volunteer opportunities.

You can now purchase plush seat cushions that can be used for the auditorium seats (You'll thank us later!) and more for only $10! You can order online using this link.

Own a piece of history! Order online here or you can print the order form and turn in to the PAPA mailbox in the front office along with your payment.

All orders must be turned in by Friday, November 22. Thank you!

This fall's fundraiser is NEW! Check out our Envelope Challenge, a fun and unique way to raise money for the many initiatives PAPA supports. We are able to help in so many ways thanks to YOU!

Passion for Excellence Scholarship -- Applications are available in Ms. Winne's office, or you can print one here. The application deadline for 2019 has passed and is now closed. More information about these scholarships is below:

These are not college scholarships.  These scholarships are offered to help pay for any activity or event, that has as its primary purpose, furthering the education of students in an academic or artistic pursuit. Scholarships are available to individual students and to teachers for the benefit of a group of students.  Awards are made twice a year, in October and May.

This scholarship fund is administered through PAPA.  A percentage of your PAPA membership dues goes toward the scholarship fund, but private donations are an essential aspect of funding.  The need is great and every contribution can make a difference

Parents and teachers, if you would like to enrich the lives of our students, please contribute to this worthy cause.  Make your check payable to PAPA for the Passion for Excellence Scholarship Fund and mail it to:

Mission Statement

PAPA provides funding and manpower needed to help CCA provide a quality education to each student in the areas of both academics and the arts.

Although parent volunteer service is a requirement for a student to attend CCA, PAPA works with the administration to help coordinate and enhance the efforts of parent volunteers in all aspects of the school.

In order to accomplish our mission statement, we will:

  • Promote and reward academic achievement.

  • Assist CCA in providing opportunities for parents to meet required commitments of time and effort.

  • Ensure that CCA property is well maintained, both aesthetically and functionally, within the scope of our responsibilities.

  • Maintain such fiduciary accountability that members are confident that their board is acting in their best interest and collected funds are properly allocated.

This group is the equivalent of the PTA in other schools. PAPA is unique because it is a free-standing registered charitable corporation that exists solely to serve the Center for Creative Arts.

PAPA Organization

PAPA needs YOU! We need your time, your talent, your ideas, and your resources. As you already know, 18 volunteer hours are required for your student to retain their place at CCA. Joining PAPA and becoming involved is the best way to get your hours in and help your students at the same time! Contact for more information.
