Destination Imagination

What is Destination Imagination?

Destination Imagination is an after school program for kids who love to create, which means it fits perfectly at CCA. Students form teams of 4-7 students who work together to solve a challenge in one of six categories: scientific, improvisational, structural, fine arts, service, or technical. Along the way they may have to write scripts, design and sew costumes, build a set, saw PVC, paint, wall paper or some other skill. The team presents their solution to the challenge at a regional tournament (usually in March). If successful, they move on the state level (usually in April). And if successful there, they move on to GLOBAL FINALS, where they compete against teams from all over the world. For more information, contact the CCA DI sponsor, John Echols, at
