Bio

I was born in Michigan but grew up just north of Cincinnati, Ohio.  I developed a love for the Cincinnati Reds, the Ohio State Buckeyes, and jazz music from an early age.  My family moved to Franklin, Tennessee in 1999, and I jumped on the Tennessee Titans fandom then.  I graduated from Centennial High School in 2008 and moved to Chattanooga to attend UTC that fall.  I graduated with a degree in Humanities: International Studies in 2012.  After graduation, I took an internship working for a church in Berkeley, California doing college ministry for a year.  Following that internship, I moved back to Chattanooga to get my Masters in Education from UTC, which I finished in 2015.  I worked as a temporary history teacher at the Howard School after graduation and taught at Brainerd High School for the 2016-2017 school year.  I am excited to be working at Center for Creative Arts teaching Government, Economics, Personal Finance and Senior Project.
